An ex medieval grange, the former San Pietro farm house is admired for its extremely attractive rural structure. It was a Benedictine settlement before the year 1000 and later the Benedictine San Pietro di Laus farmhouse. The tower is a prestigious element containing two small rooms on two floors with four beds at the disposal of the pilgrims travelling along the via Francigena. The complex is built around a large quadrangular closed courtyard.
